| We study processes that regulate synaptic transmission in an experimentally advantageous model organism, the mollusc Aplysia californica. Specific phenomena that are the subject of current research include processes that dynamically regulate active spike propagation in neurons, and processes that determine the efficacy of transmission induced by propagating spikes. |
